Therapeutic Massage in Givatayim

A home visit in Givatayim, or twenty minutes down the hill to the clinic.

Home visits available

Givatayim is the smallest of the cities around my clinic and the one whose name tells you the most about it: two hills. It is residential in a way Tel Aviv is not, people stay for decades rather than for a lease, and that changes who walks in and what they want.

It is also, alongside Ramat Gan, one of the two cities outside Tel Aviv-Yafo where I actually come to you. For anyone living here, that is often the whole point.

A city you stay in, and what that changes on the table

Central Tel Aviv brings a lot of one-off appointments: a visitor, someone between flats, somebody passing through. A city people settle in invites the opposite, a session booked on a rhythm, once a month or once every six weeks, for years.

That is where the work actually pays off, and the one I would pick if it were up to me. I stop having to rediscover your back every time. I know which side locks first, I know what your January looks like compared to your June, and the session starts where the last one finished instead of starting over.

The hills are not a detail

The slopes are genuinely steep, and a body that walks them every day loads calves, the front of the thighs and the lower back differently from a body that walks the flat grid of Tel Aviv. Going down is harder on the knees than going up, which surprises most people.

I am not going to tell you that living on a hill is a medical problem, because it is not: it is closer to free training. But if your knees or your calves are what brought you here, where you walk is worth two minutes of conversation before I start.

Getting to the clinic from Givatayim

Givatayim is not on the Red Line of the light rail, so unlike Ramat Gan there is no single-ride option. Getting to the clinic means a bus or a car, and both are short: you are a handful of kilometres from Hovevei Tsion.

That is why this page spends more words on the home visit than on the journey: from Givatayim it is usually the better of the two.

I come to Givatayim

Givatayim is one of the two cities I travel to. I bring the table, the cream and the towels, and I need about two metres by two metres of quiet floor, which any bedroom gives you.

This matters more here than elsewhere. If you are treating a parent, if stairs are the problem, or if the reason you stopped going to a clinic years ago is the journey rather than the treatment, then a home visit is not a convenience, it is the only version of this that works.

It is not bookable online: call me or send a WhatsApp. The travel is charged on top of the treatment and the supplement depends on the distance, so I set it case by case.

Questions from this area

Do you come to Givatayim?
Yes. Givatayim and Ramat Gan are the two cities outside Tel Aviv-Yafo that I travel to. Further than that, you come to the clinic.
What do you need in the room?
Roughly two metres by two metres of floor, somewhere I can walk around the table, and a quiet half hour at either end. No oil on your furniture: I work with a cream and I bring my own towels.
Can you treat an elderly parent at home?
Yes. Tell me beforehand about mobility, medication and any recent surgery, and I adapt the pressure and the positions to what the body in front of me can do. A treatment adapted that way is a real treatment, not a reduced one.
What does a home visit cost?
The treatment price plus a travel supplement based on the distance, which I set case by case. Give me the address and I give you the total before you book anything.
Do you do prenatal massage at home in Givatayim?
Yes, after the first trimester, and the home visit makes the later months considerably easier. It is not a separate treatment: it is a soft tissue or deep tissue session adapted to pregnancy, worked on the side with proper support. Tell me how many weeks you are when you write, and tell me about anything your midwife or doctor has flagged.
